There has been an update to the Simplenote app on MacOS. Lots of good stuff, at first glance. But for me, the app slows to a crawl, and I cannot use it. OK on “iPadOS”, for now, but on the “big” OS, no. So I’m back to nvALT [https://brettterpstra.com/projects/nvalt/] because nothing else seems to be able to handle a realistic number of files. This is not ‘progress’.
